About

Our Story

Past, Present, and Future...

  • 1977

    Our beginnings...

CASC began in 1977 as a "Meals Together" program which, for more than 20 years, operated out of a converted house on North 5th Avenue in downtown Coatesville.
  • 2016

    New home...

In the summer of 2015, construction began on a new, state-of-the-art facility just blocks away from their former location. CASC's new home located at 250 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd (formerly Harmony St), opened on Monday, June 13, 2016.
  • 2017

    New leadership...

Bill Pierce was hired as Executive Director in July 2017 and has been instrumental in helping CASC grow with the addition of new programming and services.
  • 2018

    New campaign...

2018 marks the early planning stages of a major gifts campaign. CASC wants to ensure that seniors in the Coatesville area can continue to access age appropriate programming for generations to come.
